LSB Round 5: ARBA lose to Escazu

There was a change at the LBS leadership position after last games. The most important game of round 5 took place in San Jose between two undefeated teams where Escazu beat ARBA (4-1) 72-61 on Monday night. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of ARBA. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Undefeated Escazu (5-0) have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader. ARBA at the other side dropped to the second place with one game lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Jaguares.
The game had a very big importance for first-ranked MBA as it allowed them to take a leadership position. MBA defeated second-ranked Jaguares on the road 69-59. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Limon Sh. Jaguares lost their fourth game in a row. They still keep top with four games lost. They share the position with Grecia.
Leading Grecia (0-4) recorded its fourth loss on the court of fourth ranked Abogados on Monday night. Visitors were defeated by Abogados 60-56. Abogados (3-2) moved-up to third place, which they share with Roswell. Grecia lost their fourth game in a row. They still keep top with four games lost. They share the position with Jaguares.

In the last game of round 5 Roswell lost to Limon Sh. on the opponent's court 73-77.

Rather expected game when 3rd placed Roswell (3-2) was defeated on the road by first ranked Limon Sh. (2-3) 77-73 on Wednesday. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Limon Sh. maintains first place with 2-3 record, which they share with MBA. Loser Roswell keeps the third position with two games lost. They share it with Abogados.

Abogados - Grecia 60-56

Leading Grecia (0-4) recorded its fourth loss on the court of fourth ranked Abogados on Monday night. Visitors were defeated by Abogados 60-56.
